Hi, I’m Jerry.
A highschool student in California figuring out the gap between high school academics and real-world success.
Why I Started This Blog
I’ve always thought I was an above-average kid in one way or another. Lately, however, I’ve begun to question the world around me—specifically the massive gap between what we learn in high school and how the real world actually functions.
School teaches everyone the exact same subjects for success—like the Pythagorean theorem or the Magna Carta. But after graduation, an estimated 67% to 70% of Americans end up living paycheck to paycheck. Most of these people went to school, yet they still struggle later in life.
I created Learnsphere because I was tired of being told what to do—whether by rigid school curricula or self-proclaimed online gurus. I wanted a space to research real-world topics for myself and other students: social media dynamics, practical AI applications, productivity, and modern education.
This publication is written from the perspective of someone who is still figuring things out—not a self-proclaimed expert, but a student learning in real time and sharing what actually works through weekly research and personal experiments.
"I don’t have all the answers—but I’m someone you can relate to. If you’re in high school or college, you’re either going through, about to go through, or have already experienced the exact same things I talk about here."
